Chattarpur Mandir - Delhi

Chhatarpur Mandir, also known as Shri Adhya Katyayani Shakti Peeth Mandir, is one of the largest and most famous temples in Delhi, dedicated to Goddess Katyayani (a form of Maa Durga). Located in the Chhatarpur area of South Delhi, the temple was established in 1974 by Baba Sant Nagpal Ji. Spread across nearly 70 acres, the temple complex showcases stunning North and South Indian architectural styles with intricately carved marble structures and towering shikharas.

The temple attracts thousands of devotees, especially during the Navratri festival, when grand celebrations, rituals, and fairs are organized. Apart from the main shrine of Goddess Katyayani, the complex also houses many smaller temples dedicated to Lord Shiva, Lord Hanuman, Lord Ram, and other deities.

• Afternoon Break: 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM (Temple remains open; darshan resumes afterward)
• Evening Darshan: 4:00 PM – 10:00 PM
• Daily Opening & Closing: 6:00 AM – 10:00 PM
